Kick off your summer by enjoying a variety of BBQ, beer and wine while watching BBQ pros compete for a BBQ Grand Prize. Also, live entertainment will provide hours of dancing and fun. 


Fireworks 4th of July

Noon-10 p.m.

Celebrate Independence Day with games, food, swimming from 12-5 p.m. Live entertainment will continue into the evening from 4:30-9:30 p.m., followed by a patriotic fireworks display. Bring your friends, blankets and lawn chairs.

A family-friendly dance party featuring Bay Area bands in an outdoors, park environment. All concerts held at Central Park Pavilion (909 Kiely Blvd) unless otherwise noted. This series is sponsored by the Cultural Commission.

Friday, June 14, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. in Live Oak Park - Join Bay Area band, and Santa Clara favorite, The Hitmen to kick off the summer concert series. This concert is held at Live Oak Park (next to the Northside Library). 

Friday, July 12, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. - Sizzle with Orquesta Latin Heat in this Friday night musical experience. Be sure to bring your dancing shoes as the exhilarating rhythms are sure to get you on your feet.

Sunday, July 21, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. - Known for Disney Junior Nursery Rhymes, Genevieve Goings will be leading an energetic performance for the first children's centered Concert in the Park.

Friday, July 26, 2019 at 6:30 p.m. - Take 2 will be bringing the horns and vocals for a dance party with all the contemporary and R&B chart toppers.

Sunday, August 11, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. - For the final Concert in the Park performance, bring your family and friends to dance your heart out with Livewire. Best known for their high-energy covers, Livewire performs all over the Bay Area.

Stroll through Franklin Square to experience interactive art, face painting, delicious food and drinks, and dance your heart out to a performance by Bay Area band, The House Rockers.
